Function
The patent is based on the same principle
of the opening mechanism of the usual can.
The sieve is placed between the can lid and the lever, it is attached on the blank-concavity which results from the lid.
The sieve holes are small enough to prevent insects from entering the can, although big enouth to quarantee the usual flow of the drink.
The top-right-hand illustation showes the mecanism, how to open the can.
The can was introduced to manufaturer and tests, to show its capability for large-scale production, have been made, with the result that the can is producible.
The bottom-right-hand illustration shows an exploded drawing of the new constructed lid.
The opening mechanism:
The lever gets through the gap of the sieve, pushes onto the lid and opens the can as usual.
